4StarCustoms Shop – Fulltime Position
The service technician is responsible for the diagnosis, inspection, estimate and proper repair of vehicles brought to 4Starcustoms by our customers. The diagnosis, inspection, estimation and repair can include meeting with the customer to test drive and/or gain a better understanding of his/her concerns; using the proper diagnostic techniques to determine the root cause of the concern; working with the service advisor to put together a proper estimate; installing the necessary parts to correct identified problems as well as to identify any necessary additional repairs.

Responsibilities
- General auto mechanics.
- welding and fabrication
- Basic body shop skills required. Must be competent in and able to use a paint spray gun, primer, fillers, sanding, cleaning and power washing.
- Responsible for detail and maintenance of restored vehicles
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following: auto restoration, engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning
- Must be able to work on most popular car models
- Must be able to diagnose faulty parts
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina, lift heavy objects, and walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
